Alessio Nota is a sound artist exploring the relationship between memory, emotion and technology through sound. Working with modular synthesis, feedback systems and generative processes, he creates evolving sonic landscapes in which repetition, imperfection and decay become expressive forces. His compositions move between drones, layered textures and sparse melodies, evoking spaces suspended between presence and absence. Sound is a form of memory: a trace that emerges, dissolves and returns. Sounds breathe, unravel and gradually resurface, transforming time into something to be experienced rather than measured. Inspired by the idea that machines can retain traces of human experience, his work unfolds as a quiet dialogue between the emotional and the artificial, between remembrance and imagination. His compositions do not seek attention, but listening. Fragments of possible memories suspended between noise and silence, where time does not move forward, but unfolds.
